Bildoy Cup 2010
CHRISC Tanzania/Bildoy Bonanza 2010 was held on 20th March at the CHRISC Training center in Arusha, the Bonanza was packed with a lot of activities “a lot” including football, volleyball, seminars, tug war, teams chasing a hen, fun games and not to forget teaching from the word of God by students from Bildoy Bible School.
The Bonanza attracted a total number of 20 teams from within Arusha, 9 of the teams were CHRISC Teams, 6 teams came from local institutions, 4 were from local youths and the last comprised of the CHRISC Tanzania National coordinator and his staff team. To make the Bonanza more exiting all teams were required to participate in both football and volleyball in the preliminary stages this helped reduce the tension of competition and bring in the element of funs and play.
Bildoy Bible School also managed to get 10 pairs of jerseys which were given as gifts to teams participating in CHRISC League in Arusha and some local teams, this helped make the event more colorful and we appreciate Bildoy Bible School for.
One of the main purposes of the bonanza was sports fun and education, to achieve the element of education there were four tents used for that purpose and each team was required to attend at least all of the tents which had facilitators teaching on the basics of Substance abuse, HIV/AIDS, First Aids.
The bonanza attracted around 300 participant’s and on looker finally we want to thank Gods for the success of the Bonanza and Bildoy Bible School for their support in making it possible and to all the CHRISC Arusha volunteers who worked hard to see all the details of the tournament become a reality God Bless you all
